My friend Brian married a Japanese girl who moved here to the US with him. When her parents came to visit, we struck up a really tight friendship with them, even though we had almost no language in common. At least, at first. We did start to pick up a bit of each other's language during the three weeks they were here. Anyway, I have kept in contact with them and would like to send small boxes of treats and goodies and other small presents to them from time to time. But what company is the best for shipping to Japan? I have gone to some of the major shippers here, but they want to charge an arm and a leg for each package. The shipping is costing more than the stuff I want to send! It is ridiculous. I want to find a reliable shipping company that I can count on that does not cost a fortune. It should not be this hard to get stuff to Japan, given how much trade we do with them.
